“Beds empty! No note! Car gone…” (Week 4)

Monday is email day and I think I turned into Mrs Weasley from the second Harry Potter. The day crept on and still no email from Louisa.

“Beds empty! No note! Car gone — could have crashed — out of my mind with worry — did you care? — never, as long as I’ve lived — you wait until your father gets home, we never had trouble like this from Bill or Charlie or Percy —”

Effectively what I was saying haha. “She’s been out for nearly a month now, her first week in an area and we get nothing!!!”.

We did get an email in the end, just a short one though, she hasn’t been issued with an iPad yet so they had to go to the chapel and they didn’t get very long.  Wahh I’m impatient for a proper long email!

We got a little bit of information though! Her companion Ana Jimenez is the girlfriend of Carlos who Louisa and Jemima met in Spain last year and who Josh Adams (Horbury Ward) helped to convert. Small world.

Bizarrely the girl who was always freezing in England whatever the temperature is now begging some cold weather, not that we could send it as we are enjoying some rather glorious weather right now!

Important notice for all – letters and parcels are all still going to the same address!

She says she is finally starting to tan!

Hopefully we will get some more next week and I will try not to go full on Mrs Weasley if she doesn’t write a longer one haha. Ah it’s just because I miss her and want to know what she is up to!

Most importantly though she is still alive so I suppose I should be satisfied with that 😉
